Hi Community,
Prayag from the Pendulum team was begging offline collators to come back online or proactively leave the collator set. There amount of collators in the set which didn't participate in consensus (due to being offline) was slowing the chain by 50% causing bad impact on all network participants.
After more than 2 weeks the collators in question still did not return to action, therefore I initiated a governance proposal to furcefully remove these nodes from the collator set to restore constant blocktimes on amplitude.
There have been 7 collators intending to leave the set but still idling in the queue. I triggered the leaveCandidates for all these:

Furthermore there is a list of collators that did not signal an intend to leave but still are offline for more than 2 weeks now.&nbsp; These collators will be forcefully removed by this proposal:
